leveille has been a practicing and exhibiting artist since attaining her fine art degree in 1971 at Elmhurst College. leveille's artwork is a continuing journey through her subconscious. It challenges our familiar perspective and view of our world suggesting that fantasy may in fact be reality. leveille works both large (up to 15' x 24') and small scale (as small as 3"x 5"). Her mediums include acrylic, oil and watercolour. She has also created ceramic vessels and jewelry. leveille has collaborated with musicians and Chicago choreographer Shawn Coyle to create the dance "Tunnel" seen at "Around the Coyote"(Chicago), Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts (Schaumburg), and Bubotto (Elgin). leveille has had several one person exhibits and created art installations at Contemporary Center for the Arts of Arlington (Arlington Heights), "Around the Coyote" (Chicago) and three at Bubotto (Elgin). She has been juried into many exhibits including "The Chicago Show". She has assisted the Bubotto board; been a board member of Contemporary Center for the Arts of Arlington; served as a commissioner on the Elgin Cultural Arts Commission; and is a member of the Chicago Society of Artists. Although leveille makes her living as a graphic designer (owner of leAd design), her life's work is her fine art. leveille was born in Elmhurst, Illinois and currently resides in McHenry County, Illinois.
